Full image of the nursing Mary (Maria lactans) on a mirror and on a rising flag, executed in polychrome painting by Leonardo da Vinci (today attributed to G. A. Boltraffio). On the flag, against a background of a pink berry, rich gold trim in stylized flowers. Around the shin, there is a decorative border band. Artist's key; manufacturer's mark. Diameter 25 cm. Russian porcelain plate depicting the "Madonna Litta". Artist's signature; manufacturer's mark. Russia. Moscow/Dulyovo. M. S. Kuznetsov. Circa 1900.
