Full image of the Nursing Madonna (Maria lactans) on a mirror and on a rising flag, executed in polychrome painting by Leonardo da Vinci (today attributed to G. A. Boltraffio). On the flag, against a background of a pink berry, rich gold trim in stylized flowers. There is a decorative border band around the shin. Artist's key; manufacturer's mark. Diameter 25 cm. Russian porcelain plate depicting the "Madonna Litta". Signature of the artist; manufacturer's mark. Russia. Moscow/Dulevo. M. S. Kuznetsov. Circa 1900.
