A rectangular, slightly curved body with compressed edges. The walls are surrounded on all sides by purple rocaille relief paintings. Inside them are colored depictions of feathered game set before architectural landscapes in polychrome painting, likely by the artist C.G. Alberti, active around 1767–1772. The inner lid is decorated with an oval, gilded engraved floral wreath. Inside sits a noble lady, gracefully observing an open box. The motif is based on Meissen models. Partial interior gilding. The mounting is of profiled silver, gilded, with a protruding shell-decorated handle. H. 4.5 cm. 8 cm x 6 cm. A comparable example in form with floral decoration from 1759 can be found in the Reichmann Collection at the Fürstenberg Museum. See Bückamp-Markowski, Catalogue of Porcelain Boxes, No. 231, 50; Ducret, Fürstenberg Porcelain, Vol. II, Fig. 64f., p. 68; Jedding, European Porcelain, p.
