Two-handled tray
Description

Oval shape with a curving wavy rim. Side, oppositely placed volute handles decorated with gold. Relief decoration "Altrozier". In the recessed center, a large so-called appliqué flower, surrounded by shaded insects and scattered flowers. Corresponding decoration of flowers and insects on the flag and outer wall. Polychrome painting, most likely by Johann Gottfried Klinger (active 1726-1746). Gilded edging. Sword mark. Height 8 cm. 40 cm x 29 cm. Crossed swords marks. Meissen. Circa 1740-1745.
