Description

On a pedestal adorned with plastic flowers and leaves sits a cavalier in black breeches and a yellow jacket with a pattern of Indian flowers over a white shirt, tenderly embracing and kissing a lady seated beside him. The lady, dressed in a white gown with a gray fabric pattern of gold flowers, strokes her beloved's cheek. Polychrome painting with gold accents. Possibly by Johann Joachim Kändler and Johann Friedrich Eberlein. Minimal damage, some restoration. Height 15 cm.
