Tea caddy with a Watteau scene
Description
Highly rectangular. On both sides of the panel are different Watteau scenes, alternating with polychrome painting of flower branches. Golden framing. A metal rim on the neck and a decorative lid with a bird’s crown were added later. Press marks "2" and "KM". Height 13.5 cm. Porcelain tea caddy, painted with Watteau scenes. Metal rim and lid added later. Factory mark. Nymphenburg. Circa 1760.
