A fully sculpted figure of a recumbent leopard with naturalistic fur markings. Polychrome underglaze painting. Possibly executed by Theodor Kerner in 1905.
Model number 153. Artist’s monogram T.B. or S.B. Old dealer labels from "J.F. Maercklin Stuttgart". Manufacturer’s mark. Height 11 cm. Length 25 cm. Early Art Nouveau work – a porcelain figure of a recumbent leopard. Artist’s monogram. Manufacturer’s mark – Nymphenburg.
