

Tall, rectangular with rounded shoulders and a short neck. On both sides of the panel are elegant pairs after Watteau, the narrow sides feature corresponding individual figures in polychrome painting, likely executed by J.H. Eisenstreger. The surrounding border is gold with a floral pattern. The lid is adorned with landscapes. Some minor repairs; manufacturer's mark. Height 12 cm. A German porcelain tea caddy painted with Watteau scenes. Slightly restored. Manufacturer's mark: Fürstenberg. Circa 1765-1770.
