A rectangular porcelain plaque depicting the duchess in a forest landscape, magnificently dressed in a blue gown with black lace and red flowers on the neckline. Based on Winterhalter’s 1842 portrait. Number and marking on the reverse with an old label "304 Alexandra Countess Saxe-Coburg-Gotha 1840-" as well as two overlapping inventory labels, including "Schloss Baden Inventory Page 368 No. 37." 12 cm x 15.3 cm. Gilt wooden frame with matching applied brass plate, numbered "304."
