

This figurine is a pair to the "Dancing Uzbek Woman" statuette... (Uzbek Dance). Malysheva Nina Alexandrovna (1914-1983) was a Soviet porcelain sculptor. She worked at the Dulevo Porcelain Factory, where she created complex multi-figure sculptures on themes of childhood and happy motherhood, classical ballet, and dance. She paid great attention to detail. Some of her most famous sculptures are "Manicure", "Lezginka", "Telephone Conversation", and "Girl with Chickens".
