From "Ural Tales" by P.P. Bazhov, the young widow Nastena, adorned with gold jewelry and crowned with an intricate tiara, humbles herself beside the malachite coffin of her deceased husband Stepan, which is filled with jewelry that Stepan received from the legendary Mistress of the Copper Mountain. Nastena holds a mirror in her right hand to examine her jewels, the factory mark and quality, and the date '1966' in green glaze; '66' in blue glaze; dimensions: 20.6 x 15.9 x 15.2 cm (8 1/8 x 6 1/4 x 6 inches).
