Description
On a square pedestal stands a figurine of a comedian in a fancy costume, with a white collar, a black mask, and a large hat. In his left hand, he holds a curved dagger. A stack of books is used as a support. Polychrome painting with gold stafage. Possibly the work of Johann Joachim Kändler. Model number 64568. Sword mark. Height 18.5 cm. Porcelain figurine "Dottore" from the Commedia dell'arte. Marked with crossed swords. Meissen. After 1973.
