Porcelain figurine "Cortegiano" from the Commedia dell'arte
Description
On a square pedestal stands a statuette of a standing comedian in an elegant, partially gold-embellished costume with a cap and a brown mask. In his right hand, he holds a tobacco pipe. The polychrome painting is decorated with gold staffage. It is possibly the work of Johann Joachim Kändler. Model number 64559. Sword mark. Height 18 cm. Porcelain figurine "Cortegiano" from the Commedia dell'arte. Crossed swords mark. Meissen. After 1973.
