Based on drawings by Francesco Galimberti (1755-1803 or 1804). 6 sheets (No. 1 and 4-8) from a series of a total of 8 sheets on the so-called "Pozzi e Piombi di Venezia", the Venetian prisons. Each with a printed caption or explanation in Italian language. Plate size 23.8 - 24.8 cm x 30 - 30.7 cm. Framed. Six aquatints after Francesco Galimberti (1755-1803 or 1804) from a series of eight depictions of Venetian prison scenes.
