The Piast Castle (Polish "Zamek Piastów Śląskich") in Brieg (Brzeg) in Silesia is one of the most significant buildings of the Renaissance in present-day Central-Eastern Europe. Depiction approximately 40.5 cm x 60.5 cm; sheet 48.5 cm x 65 cm. Slightly toned and lightly fringed. Hand-colored lithograph with a view of the Palace of the Piast Dynasty in Brzeg (Brieg) in Silesia at the time of Duchess Dorothea Sibylla (1590-1625), published circa 1840-1860 in Wrocław (former Breslau). Minor light toning.
