
Silver. Oval bowl, transitioning into flat surfaces, widening handle with rounded end, consistently with delicate central ridge. On the underside of the handle, the engraved initials "C.M.T.M." Handle underside decorated; hallmark in the form of a crowned scepter mark, ligated monogram "G A S" (?) as the master's mark. Weight approximately 195 g. Length 37.5 cm. A large, probably Rhineland Baroque silver spoon. Monogrammed. Assay mark with crowned scepter, ligated master's mark. Likely German, Rhineland. 18th century.
