Description

A GROUP OF RUSSIAN IMPERIAL PERIOD PORCELAIN. Comprising 10 Imperial Russian porcelain pieces including a scarce large bowl overall decorated with bouquets of flowers against a white ground and with blue banded rim by Gardner, underside of verso with blue Gardner factory mark beneath the Imperial warrant, and with impressed Cyrillic Gardner mark above the impressed Saint George, and with impressed number 15, diameter 12 inches (30 cm). Together with four matching underplates or shallow bowls by Kuznetsov banded in magenta, with gilt ribbed rim, and the cavetto of each painted with a bouquet of flowers and banded with gilt scroll work. Underside of each with blue Kuznetsov factory mark, diameter of each 8.25 inches (21 cm). As well as a Kuznetsov footed waste bowl on ring foot with floral decorations on green ground, underside of base with green Kuznetsov factory mark beneath the Imperial warrant, diameter 6.75 inches (17.3 cm), height 3.1 inches (9.4 cm), a Kuznetsov matching cup and saucer with cobalt and gilt decoration, as well as a Khrapunova-Novago porcelain cup and saucer also in cobalt and gold decoration. Together with three early soviet porcelain footed bowls, each on ring foot, two matching with magenta sides and flowers, and a larger waste bowl in cobalt, gilt, and floral decoration. Each with early soviet marks, circa 1925, greatest diameter 6.75 inches (17 cm).
