Standing before merchant ships and imposing palazzo architecture are Rococo couples and figurative staffage. Based on copperplate engravings by Melchior Küsel after J.W. Baur. Outer edge with Indian flower branches. Polychrome painting with rich gold staffage. Formerly attributed to Andreas Schiefer. Sword mark on unglazed base. 29 cm x 25 cm.
