Highly rectangular with rounded shoulders and a short neck. On both sides of the panel, there are graceful Watteau couples, the narrow sides with corresponding individual figures in polychrome painting, likely by J.H. Eisensträger. Surrounding gold border with colored blossoms. The lid decorated with landscapes. Some insignificant restoration; manufacturer's mark. Height 12 cm. A German porcelain tea caddy painted with Watteau scenes. Insignificantly restored. Manufacturer's mark: Fürstenberg. Around 1765-1770.
