Frankenthal porcelain was produced in Germany for only 44 years. The factory was not able to survive as long as the manufactories in Meissen or Nymphenburg.
However, it is still one of the largest German porcelain manufacturers. In less than half a century, it became famous for its tableware and figurines with delicate painting in Rococo and classical style. Nowadays, 18th-century Frankenthal porcelain has become rare and valuable collectibles. Many samples are kept in museums in Germany and other countries, including the collection of the Hermitage.
