(1825 Frankfurt am Main – 1905 Kronberg im Taunus) Scene in the courtyard of the "Goldene Gans" hotel on Fahrgasse in Frankfurt. A mood-rich, warmly toned painterly motif from Old Frankfurt. He was a collector in Paris, Vienna, and London, as well as in Germany. Oil on canvas. Signed. Dimensions: 26.5 cm x 32.5 cm. On the reverse, an old inscription: "'Old Frankfurt' by Prof. A. Burger, Frankfurt." In a frame.
