(1858 Radeburg – 1929 Berlin) "Widow Bolte Goes to the Ball." Original title. A plump lady with a large hat is depicted in profile in a dynamic and fleeting style. Graphite on paper; on the reverse side attached to a sheet with the red estate stamp "Nachlass Prof. Heinrich Zille" and the monogram "S.Z." (from Sophia Zille, the artist’s daughter-in-law), also noted on the label. Slightly darkened and creased in the lower part. Cut stretcher size 14.5 cm x 5.5 cm. Framed. Pencil on paper. Red estate stamp with the monogram "S.Z." from the artist’s daughter-in-law, Sophia Zille. Minor creasing in the lower part.
