

Born in 1940 in Munich. Currently resides here. Hühnerhof, a meticulously executed painting in the style of the cabinet painter Kaplan, active as an animal and landscape artist. With his paintings of chickens and ducks, distinguished by carefully observed, detailed, and lively depictions of the birds, Kaplan follows the traditions of Carl Jutz the Elder, as well as the Munich animal painters Julius Schoyer and Max Hanger, who also dedicated themselves to these motifs.
