

DESCRIPTION: (9 pieces) A Russian Moscow USSR Dulevo porcelain set of nine hand-painted plates depicting the Kremlin Wall from Moscow. Marked with the Dulevo Red Porcelain stamp. The Dulevo factory was founded in 1832 by Terenty Kuznetsov. His idea was to establish a factory for mass-producing porcelain. During the Soviet era, the factory employed up to 6,500 workers. In 1958, a porcelain figurine of a falcon named “Sokol” won the Grand Prix at the World Exposition in Brussels. The falcon became the symbol of the Dulevo factory and its hallmark.
