Description

A young couple stands embraced together. The young woman wears a long white skirt with an orange floral pattern and a purple trim with a blue headband. The young man wears brown trousers with black boots and an orange top with a white circular pattern. He is holding an accordion and looking at the young woman. Factory mark, quality mark, and date mark "1955" in blue underglaze ornament, "32" in blue underglaze ornament, "172" in fine black underglaze ornament. Dimensions: 14.6 x 11.1 x 13.3 cm (5 3/4 x 4 3/8 x 5 1/4 inches). LITERATURE: Ode to Joy / Oda k radosti (Moscow: Pinakoteka, 2008), p. 341, No. 265 (illustrated).
