A collection of eight medium-sized antique Russian porcelain plates, hand-painted at the factory of the M.S. Kuznetsov Partnership. The plates are adorned with hand-painted floral and folk motifs. They bear a green or blue stamp of the M.S. Kuznetsov Partnership, as well as numbers on the reverse side. Estimated dating: late 19th century to early 20th century. The original "Kuznetsov Brothers" factory in Novokharitonovo was founded in 1810. In 1892, M.S. Kuznetsov acquired the well-equipped porcelain factory of Francis Gardner. By the early 20th century, it had absorbed many smaller factories and became responsible for nearly two-thirds of ceramic and porcelain production in the Russian Empire. It manufactured goods of such high quality that in 1902, the owner was awarded the title of Court Supplier. Antique and vintage Russian porcelain figurines, sculptures, statuettes, statues, home goods, interior decoration items, and collectibles.
