On the side, there is an image of Venus or the sea nymph Galatea, sitting in a shell, accompanied by sea nymphs and cupids. In the background, Neptune, drawn by hippocamps, approaches with a trident. This domestic painting, probably from Breslau, is executed in purple camaïeu with gold decoration. Some minor restorations; the lid is different. Height: 21 cm.
