“Pantalone” from the Italian comedy
Description
On a rocaille pedestal stands Pantalone in a reddish-brown costume with a black cloak draped over him. The polychrome painting is adorned with golden decorations. Possibly by Franz Anton Bustelli, 1759/1760. Manufacturer's mark. Height 17.5 cm. Porcelain figurine of Pantalone from the Commedia dell'Arte. Manufacturer's mark: Nymphenburg. 20th century.
