Pierrot from the Italian comedy
Description
On a Rococo pedestal with a supporting volute stands Pierrot, facing backward, dressed in a Harlequin costume, holding a lantern in his hand. Polychrome painting with rich gilded decoration. Possibly the work of Franz Anton Bustelli, 1759/1760. Manufacturer's mark. Height 21 cm. Porcelain figurine of Pierrot from the Commedia dell'arte. Manufacturer's mark. Nymphenburg. 20th century.
