From the service set for Count Rothenburg, form "Antikzyrat". Oval curved body. Side handles and a raised lid with a central knop featuring a bunch of grapes as a handle. Magnificent decoration with local birds sitting on branches, as well as butterflies and insects in polychrome painting. The rim with a purple background of purplish mosaic cups. Scepter mark. H. 21 cm. L. 28 cm. A magnificent porcelain tureen from the dinner service of Count Rothenburg, finely painted with images of birds and insects. Scepter mark. KPM-Berlin. Circa 1770.
