Reverse

Along the upper edge of the coin, the series name in English 'WARRIORS OF THE WORLD', translated as 'Warriors of the World', with the inscription 'ZULU' below. The central part of the reverse features a relief image of a Zulu warrior holding two long, light spears for close combat. A shield is also held in the left hand.

Obverse

Along the rim are inscriptions in French: at the top, the country name 'REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO', and at the bottom, '10 Francs', translated as 'ten francs'. The central part depicts the coat of arms of the DRC: a leopard's head, with an elephant tusk to its left and a spear to its right. Below the head, on a motto ribbon, is the inscription 'Justice, Paix, Travail', translated from French as 'Justice, Peace, Labor'. The coat of arms separates the mint year '20 10'.
