    Along the arc of the right edge is the inscription 'Monuments of St.Petersburg' in English, below it the name of the building complex 'Admiralty' – stylized as minute divisions on a clock face with hour hands. In the central part is the Admiralty Tower, executed in colored enamel. To the left is one of the sculptures by F. Shchedrin: a Globe supported by three women.

    In the upper part, along the arc of the coin's edge, is the country name 'Democratic Republic of the Congo' in French 'REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO', below 240 francs in French – '240 FRANC'. In the central part is the state coat of arms: a leopard's head, to its left an elephant tusk, to its right a spear, below the head the motto 'Justice, Peace, Labour' in French 'Justice, Paix, Travail'. The coat of arms divides the mintage year '2011' into two parts.
