

(1888 Nuremberg - 1982 Gerlingen) Bathing Women at Lake Ammersee Early, Summery Cheerful Work by Schöllkopf, who studied from 1907-1914 at the Stuttgart Academy with the impressionists Christian Landenberger and Robert Poetzlberger. Since 1913, he has participated in numerous exhibitions. In his further artistic development, he was initially influenced by the expressionists and Adolf Hölzel, and from around 1935, the French art of modernism, Henri Matisse, and the Fauvists like Raoul Dufy determined his oeuvre. Oil on canvas, relined; signed and dated 1914. 52 cm x 39.5 cm. Framed.
