
(1872 Munich - 1943 Seebuck am Chiemsee) Chiemsee Landscape with a looser ductus painted, impressionistically captured work of Haushofer, who found his motifs primarily in the landscape at Chiemsee and its surroundings. Haushofer exhibited at the Munich Art Association and from around 1912 at the Munich Annual Exhibitions in the Glaspalast. In 1920, he was one of the co-founders of the artist group "Die Frauenwörther," which has been showing their works since 1921 in the Torhalle on Frauenchiemsee. Oil on canvas; signed and dated 1919. 43 cm x 58 cm. Framed.
