Painted with a quick, broad, soft-pastose brushstroke in a light, pastel-toned color scheme, this artwork depicts a late impressionistic view of Paris. Anderbourh first exhibited this piece in 1937/38 at the Salon d'Automne in Paris; from 1953 to 1973, he collaborated with the renowned Durand-Ruel gallery, arranging eleven solo exhibitions. In addition to Parisian motifs, he also depicted views and landscapes from other French regions, Italy, Spain, and Morocco. Oil on canvas; signed; verso with a label by the artist indicating the title. 92 cm x 73.5 cm. Framed.
