Silver. Four fully plasticized paw feet, decorated at the base with relief plasticized acanthus leaves, transitioning into small ovoid, bulging, smooth body with conical spout and voluted handle. The rim adorned with delicate pearl band. Domed hinged lid with gadrooned, flower-shaped knob. On the visible side of the wall, a monogram and date "1865" are engraved. Signed and marked by the manufacturer. Weight approximately 880g. Height 18cm. A quality American coin silver coffee pot. Monogrammed and dated. Maker's mark: USA, Boston, Shreve, Standwood & Co. Circa 1865.
