A SOVIET PORCELAIN FIGURE "DANCING GIRL (EASTERN DANCE)", STATE PORCELAIN FACTORY, LENINGRAD, AFTER 1927 depicting a kneeling Uzbek girl in ornate costume with her hair in multiple plaits and with her arms above her head after a design by Natalia Danko (1892-1942) from the early 1920s, with impressed circular hammer and sickle factory mark and with impressed Cyrillic initials IK for modeler Ivan Kuznetsov, also with 'Made in Russia' stamped in iron red (this mark was introduced in 1927 for goods intended for export) height 6 in. 15.2 cm
