A RUSSIAN PORCELAIN BREAD AND SALT CHARGER, KUZNETSOV PORCELAIN FACTORY, TVER, CIRCA 1890 circular, decorated in relief in Pan-Slavic taste with wheat stalks flanking the inscription [ Bread and Salt ] in Russian, with four red flowers suspending garlands, the border with alternating panels, marked underneath with overglaze gilt factory mark, stamped M.S in Cyrillic, numbered 61 and 082 ; diameter: 38 cm (15 in.) CONDITION The plate appears in good original condition. Rubbing to the gilt detailing. Inspection under UV shows no apparent signs of restoration or repairs. N.B.
