
A very large, noble Polar Bear made of white glazed porcelain at the famous Polish porcelain factory Józefów in the years 1924-1930 of the previous century. The sculpture is executed in the art deco style.
This figure of the Polar Bear is very valuable and popular in Poland. This particular figure became iconic for Józefów, and its image is present on the factory's stamp!

Excellent collectible condition. No visible damages, cracks, chips, micro-cracks, restorations, or production defects. There is a light crazing on the piece, which is characteristic of porcelain with the passage of time and serves as additional confirmation of its authenticity and venerable age!
A very large work. Height 25 cm. Length 32 cm.
There is the Józefów Poland stamp on the base of the piece.
An identical sculpture is housed in the collection of the Silesian Museum in Katowice.
The Józefów porcelain factory was founded in the Polish city of Czeladź in 1924 and ceased production in 2008.
