Gzhel is one of the traditional Russian hubs for the production of ceramics and is a well-known national art form in Russia. These products are made in the Moscow region, in a large area consisting of 27 villages known as "The Gzhel cluster". Skilled craftsmen uphold the traditions of painting and create true masterpieces. The characteristic style features delicate blue designs on a white background, often depicting birds, flowers, and patterns.
This figurine is made of high-quality porcelain. It is decorated with a light painting technique that combines simple lines and ornaments with beautiful floral patterns. The painted product is then coated with white glaze and fired in a kiln at a temperature of around 1400°C. During the firing process, the glaze becomes transparent, giving the product a glossy finish and enhanced durability. The artwork is brought to life, displaying a range of shades from light blue to deep blue.
