Renault advertising poster dedicated to the races in Montlhéry. [No publisher]: [1934?]. 33.5×25.5 cm. Mounted in a passe-partout. Foxing, good condition. The Montlhéry autodrome is located southwest of the small town of Montlhéry, about 30 km (19 miles) south of Paris. The first race there, the 1925 French Grand Prix, took place on July 26, 1925, and was organized by the Automobile Club of the French Grand Prix. It was a race won by Robert Benoist in a Delage; Antonio Ascari died in an Alfa Romeo P2. The Grand Prix returned to the track in 1927 and every year from 1931 to 1937.
