Nikolai Ivanovich Piskarev (1892–1959) was a graphic artist, painter, and sculptor; he studied at the Central Stroganov School in Moscow. He collaborated with the State Publishing House and the Academia publishing house, working as a book illustrator. He taught at the typesetting and printing department of the graphic faculty of VKHUTEMAS. The artist's works are represented in the Tretyakov Gallery, the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, and other museum collections. Monogram Index No. 438, p. 46.
