"The advance detachments have occupied the Pyshma plant and are advancing towards Yekaterinburg, where panic and confusion reign. All enemy counterattacks have been repulsed, the entire proletariat of the northern front has taken up arms and begun a bloody and decisive battle with the Czechoslovak and White Guard counter-revolution (...). When the enemy falters, the fate of the Urals is being decided; we all, without exception, must make every effort to utterly destroy these gangs, so that not a trace or whisper of them remains. All military and civilian institutions must work tirelessly. The slightest delay is overt and covert sabotage.
