[First Referendum of Russia] Poster “Never trusted them. My answer: Yes! Yes! No! Yes!”. Moscow, [1993]. 44×28.8 cm. In good condition. The poster was issued for the all-Russian referendum on April 25, 1993, which included 4 questions: 1) Do you trust the President of the Russian Federation, B. N. Yeltsin? 2) Do you approve of the socio-economic policy implemented by the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation since 1992? 3) Do you consider it necessary to hold early elections for the President of the Russian Federation? 4) Do you consider it necessary to hold early elections for the People’s Deputies of the Russian Federation? As a result, no early elections were held, and the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation was dissolved in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 1400 by Boris Yeltsin dated September 21, 1993, which led to bloody clashes between supporters of the Supreme Soviet and law enforcement officers, deaths of people in the streets of Moscow—both military and civilians—and the subsequent storming of the Russian White House on October 4, 1993, with the use of armored vehicles. A rare artifact of the era.
