[First Russian Referendum] Poster "Never believed them. My answer: Yes! Yes! No! Yes!". Moscow, [1993]. 44×28.8 cm. In good condition. The poster was issued for the All-Russian referendum on April 25, 1993, which featured 4 questions: 1) Do you trust the President of the Russian Federation, B. N. Yeltsin? 2) Do you approve of the socio-economic policy implemented by the President of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Russian Federation since 1992? 3) Do you consider it necessary to hold early elections for the President of the Russian Federation? 4) Do you consider it necessary to hold early elections for the People's Deputies of the Russian Federation? Ultimately, no early elections were held, and the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation was dissolved by Presidential Decree No. 1400 of Boris Yeltsin on September 21, 1993, which led to bloody clashes between supporters of the Supreme Soviet and law enforcement officers, resulting in deaths on the streets of Moscow—both military personnel and civilian casualties—and the subsequent storming of the Russian White House on October 4, 1993, using armored vehicles. A rare artifact of the era.
