(Active in the first quarter of the 18th century) An oval portrait of a young lady. The bust portrait depicts a fashionably dressed woman with long, blond hair falling over her right shoulder. She slightly turns her head to the right in a gentle three-quarter profile, and a brooch sparkles at the neckline of her white blouse. In her left hand, she holds a blue coat-cape. The portrait acquires significant plasticity and liveliness thanks to the soft lighting, delicate modeling, and light reflections in the eyes. It reflects the influence of the French portraitist Nicolas de Largillière (1656–1746), who greatly influenced the painting of his time throughout Europe with his portraits. Oil, canvas, lining; 75 cm x 61.5 cm. In a frame. German portraitist, active in the first quarter of the 18th century; Oil, canvas, lining.
