(Active circa 1800) A pair of allegories of music. Oval, finely painted compositions with picturesque depictions in arcadian landscapes. Each is signed and dated 1803 with a crowned monogram "AA". 21.5 cm – 22 cm x 16.2 cm (cut in a mat). Framed. German or French artist of the Empire style, active circa 1800.
