Description

(Born in 1940 in Berlin. Lives in Völklingen) Untitled, abstract composition of squares, inspired by Josef Albers, Camille Graeser, Richard Paul Lohse, and the Zurich School of Concrete Art. In 1966, Ikrat was a co-publisher of the magazine "ZAAZ" in Berlin, which focused on constructive art. In the 1970s and 1980s, he undertook long and extensive travels and spent two years in India. Through this, his works also express his aspiration toward other levels of consciousness and knowledge. Oil or acrylic on canvas. Signed on the reverse. Dimensions: 79.5 cm x 79.5 cm.
