(1911 Viernheim - 1990 Karlsruhe - Gretzingen) "Composition in Red", a composition by Devaald, is characterized by subdued color brightness and ornamental-geometric abstraction, reminiscent of the works of Paul Klee, under whose influence Devaald was since the 1960s. Oil on canvas; in a frame. The dimensions of the artwork are 73 cm x 87 cm, signed and dated (19)77. On the reverse side, there is an exhibition label providing additional information.
