(1923 Hamburg - 2013 ibid.) "Godparents". The original title, created in 1969, is an expressive composition with three figures against a carpet background. In the lower left corner, there is a small figure of Christ on a palm branch. Edelmann studied at the Landeskunstschule Hamburg under Erwin Krubeck, Willem Grimm, Ivo Hauptmann, and Werner Haftmann from 1948 to 1952. Since 1952, he has worked as an independent artist in Rahlstedt. From 1962, Edelmann received numerous commissions for church stained glass and bronzes in Hamburg churches. Oil on canvas; signed, titled, and dated 1969 on the reverse. 80 cm x 80 cm. Framed.
