Description

(1950 Zechau-Leesen–2021 Berlin) Untitled expressive work by Libuda with characteristic elements. Libuda studied at the Academy of Graphic Arts and Book Design in Leipzig from 1973, and in 1978/79 was a master student of Bernhard Heisig. Until 1985, he worked as an assistant at the Academy in Leipzig. In 1999, he received the Fred Thiel Prize for painting from the Berlin Gallery, and in 2000 was awarded the Gerhard Altenbourg Prize from the Lindenau Museum in Altenburg. Mixed media on paper. Signed and dated (19)95. 30.5 cm x 84 cm. Framed.
